OhmAlloy118 is a nickel-chromium alloy (NiCr alloy) characterized byHigh resistivity, good oxidation resistance,very good form stability,good ductility and excellent weldability. It is suitable for use at temperatures up to 1250°C.

Applications
Nichrome alloy resistance strip Ni70Cr30 is widely used for making electric heating elements in home appliances and industrial furnaces. Typical applications are flat irons, ironing machines, water heaters, plastic moulding dies, soldering irons, metal sheathed tubular elements and cartridge elements.
